Next Gathering is June 6th
The next Gathering of the Lexington Emmaus Community will be June 6th at St. Luke UMC. We will start with a Potluck at 6:30 followed by worship at 7:30PM. Child care will be available.

Community Prayer Ministry
The Lexington Emmaus Community now has a Prayer Ministry. Should you or some one you know have a special need for prayer, please e-mail those requests to prayers@lexingtonemmaus.org. Norm and Susie Galloway are leading this new ministry. All prayer requests will remain confidential unless you ask that it be made known outside the prayer ministry team.

2008-2009 Walk Dates Set
The 2008 and 2009 Walk dates will be as follows. All will be held on the campus of Asbury Theological Seminary.

October 2-5, 2008	Men's Walk 101
October 16-19, 2008	Women's Walk 102
March 12-15, 2009	Men's Walk 103
March 19-22, 2009	Women's Walk 104
November 5-8, 2009	Men's Walk 105
November 12-15, 2009	Women's Walk 106

Fall 2008 Walk Registration is Open!
The Lexington Emmaus Community's Fall 2008 Walks are rapidly approaching. Men's Walk #101 will be held October 2-5, 2008 and Women's Walk #102 will be October 16-19, 2008. The deadline for submission of Walk applications for these Walks is three weeks before the start of each Walk.. It's not to early to submit applications for those Walks to guarantee your Pilgrim will get to go!

Signup to be a Meal Server and to bring Snack Agape
You can now signup on-line to serve meals or to bring snack agape on the upcoming Walks. Go to the Meal Server or Snack Agape signup pages to let the team know how you want to help.

We need your help
We have begin the process of documenting our history on the Web as a part of the 20th Anniversary. In doing so, we have discovered we are missing the group pictures of some of the Walks. If you have some of these pictures from early Walks please contact us. You can click here for the current list of the pictures we need. As we complete this work, the group pictures will be available from the Walks & Flights page.

On-line Newsletter is now available
The Lexington Emmaus Community's monthly newsletter is now available on-line. In addition, each month, when a new issue of the newsletter is available, an e-mail will be sent to each subscriber containing a link to that month's newsletter. Subscriptions to the on-line version may be entered here. You will need the Adobe PDF Reader to be able to read the newsletter. To get a copy of the Reader, click on the link on the subscription page. The current newsletter and a limited number of the back issues will be available on the "Newsletters" page.
