Lexington Emmaus Community

The Lexington Emmaus Community is located in Lexington, Kentucky and has members from the many communities in central Kentucky.

The Community was founded in 1985 and held its first walks in August of 1985. We celebrated our 20th Anniversary in 2005.  The Community annually holds four Emmaus Walks, two for men and two for women, and two Chrysalis Flights: one for boys and one for girls. The Walks are held in the spring and fall; the Flights are usually held in January or February.

Our Emmaus Walks are held on the campus of Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, Ky. just a short drive south of Lexington.

Our Chrysalis Flights are typically held in a campus or camp-like setting and are for those from sophomore in high school and at least 15 years old through sophomore in college but no more than 20 years old.

This Web Site is here to help you learn about and participate in the activities of the community. The links on the left will help you explore the activities and ministries of the community. Click on News, Calendar, or Walks/Flights Pages to start exploring what's going on. If you want to get involved, attend a Gathering or click on Board of Directors to find a member of the Board of Directors to help you.

Our message board is available for prayer requests, praise reports or other Community communications.  In addition, the community prayer ministry can be reached at prayers@lexingtonemmaus.org.  Recent issues of our newsletter are always available on-line.
